Lude Generation

Hi guys, I thought i should transfer this over to LG so I can let as many people as possible know and hopefully get a good meet and social going on.


Basic idea is to all meet up at my cottage in the country over friday eve and saturday morning (friday for people travelling a LONG way ) and set up camp site. site is just off J12 of the M5 and right in the middle of nothing so we can make some noise if we want. (im thinking an exhaust off at some point )

I have space to camp, a big BBQ and beer is cheap so all we need are cars and enthusiasts!


I set the date as the weekend of the 21st and 22nd of July 2012 but that is open the change if it clashes with something big.



BASIC SCHEDULE

so, general arrival saturday and get all the cars lined up. im not sure how many cars i can fit out front but my landlord might let me use one of the fields. We will get all together and then go out for a little drive. Taking in some lovely roads around here and some cracking views. We will stop at a couple of picture opportunities and take in a pub with a good carpark on the way back.

We can then crack open the beers and get the BBQ on the go

Sunday will be hangover recovery with more BBQ meat and maybe a little less beer. See how it goes. Monday morn will be the last set off time



I'v not looked at routes yet. there are some naughty roads about but it will be linking them together.


anyone got any other ideas or input? any other itinerary ideas? this is open planning at the moment. should we drive out on saturday? maybe a nightdrive? though that will be an issue for beer in the afternoon.


This is open to members of both forums but i would like to have half an idea of numbers so if we could start a list of intersted that would be great

some nice scenic routes for photos,

maybe I know we have a few airfields around

be great if we could get on one for some pics,

even better if we can rag it up runways but think might be pushing it

but I dont know if airfields would accomadate such a thing

there is morton valance air field a couple miles away. thats a bloomin good idea. i will pop over there and ask what we might be able to get away with.


imagine if we could get a runway for an hour or so. do some top speed runs and a drag shootout
