Donations

Post by Wayne2014 » Thu Jan 01, 2015 5:57 pm

Sorry
Not sure if here best to ask...

A friend on here as a member does not have a PayPal account and wishes me to donate on his behalf.

But according to this statement when u donate:
>>>
When you support Lude Generation with a minimum of £1, you will automatically be added to the Supporter group and will receive all current and future rewards. Ensure you are logged in when you donate to receive this benefit :)
>>>

How does the above statement affect my friends forum account when i donate for him using my forum account?

Cheers!
And Happy 2015! :-)

Are you able to log into your friends forum account, as them, and forward a donation using your paypal account?
If they've forgotten their password to the forum, I'm sure that can be rectified?

I'm not sure who I think is more dense.

You know passwords can be recovered/reset?
Alternatively, donate through your account and ask an admin to attribute it to your friend.

Its really very simple, I'm not sure who decided you could be trusted with a motorised chunk of metal, let alone a bank account and the internet.
