Re: Hotrod's 5G
So after 3 hours hard work and many many swear words i finally managed to get the front lowering spring done to match the rest.
The car is now sitting level again.
Tried to reset the 4ws system to see if it would come back on and stripped the head of the screw holding the fuse in... bugger!
Will get it washed tomorrow and get a few pics up!

Re: Hotrod's 5G
Test fitting of the new wheels today before sending them off for refurb

Back will be sitting almost perfect once tyres are fitted!

Think i might have a bit of bother with the front though, gonna have to stretch the tyres a bit more than i had hoped to keep it legal...

18x8
et30
Its only on lowering springs so no adjustment, dont want camber either coz it ruins tyres especially on a heavier and more powerful car

Re: Hotrod's 5G
SO my powere steering pump started making noises AGAIN only 4 weeks after fitting a new one...
Checked the fluid bottle and found it to be all but empty... Guess the leak was getting worse.
So, off with the bumper (nightmare!) and out with the toolkit...
Now im no expert mechanic but i think this has seen better days?

So i decided to just bypass it altogether as its not entirely necessary in my eyes.

Gave it all a clean and put the bumper back on then topped up with fluid, all working fine now.
BUT, not before this happened....

I always make the same mistake.. start with gloves on then take them off for something then go back to it and injure myself lol
