simply my 10p here, for 2.5k its a very average price for a 5g 2.2vtec manual but for being an import & it's condition its easily worth more with prices recently, could sell this for 4k i'd say as it is.
This.. +1

Can't see the pics for some reason - I've had this problem before strangely. Don't show for weeks and then suddenly do. Frustrating, because I wanna see it!
Anyway, glad to see you've picked up another lude for a daily and the BB1 is kept for special occasions

I have had a few quotes in:
Full rustproofing with clear underseal £650 (4 day turnaround)
Alloys diamond cut £600 (2 day turnaround)
The alloys have cleaned up quite well so i wont be going ahead and getting them recut at £600 as it is just way too much. So i am on the look out for a decent set of 5 stud oem alloys. If anyone has any suggestions or a set for sale then please let me know.
I am going to think on the rustproofing - it would be a pro job done by a top rated company and they say all box sections will be treated.

I think its worth it, you spend 100-200 in materials if you did it yourself and god knows how many hours being covered in crap....

Yeah rust proofing the underside yourself is a massive ball-ache and difficult to do well, without a ramp. And as mec says, you can easily spend 100-200 on materials alone.
I'd suggest you take the rear quarter trims out of the boot and rear seat areas before taking it down to them though, so they get in those areas properly - they probably wouldn't remove those (rust proof places tend to prefer doing drill, squirt and plug hole after, because they don't know where it is/isn't possible to access on each particular car - and the access to those areas is so good on a lude, it's best to make good use of it and do the job really well!).

The headlight refurb looks great! I think I will need to borrow that stuff as I have a few cars that desperately need this.

I think a decent set of Motegi/ATR wheels would look nice rather then spending £600 on diamond cutting wheels.
