Re: GB-lude project, pic heavy
I hope i can pull it off.. bank account is lowwww
Thanx guys.. I know the bodykit is a bit OTT.. it was before the whole JDM EOM slick thing..
The bumper is already prepared for a nice home diffusor build! might even cut it down further to reduce drag from the sides.
wPolished engine was sold and recently parted out so i bought my own polished camcover back from the guy.
Gonna fabricate a front splitter and side canards.
Fit a blower and heater under the dash.
etc etc..
If there are any questions of if you want to see different of specific pics just let me know.

Re: GB-lude project, pic heavy
away with the 38mm flange... on with the 44 Vband
Now i could fit the wastegate and the guys from 313 performance weld up the wastegate exhaust.
I decided to hook it up with the downpipe as far away as possible and in a very shallow angle.
With a screamer pipe ik will not pass the Time Attack test or MOT.
They took the downpipe to their own shop to finish it.
Further I'm working on my wiring fuel and vacuum system.
id1000's fitted and connectors wired.
Also decided to recondition my turbo. Its not old but just want to make sure its a 100%. felt a little play in the shaft.. and its now full of metal bits from the cut in my downpipe. not good..
Till next time

Would be very cool.. Been to Santa pod a few times.Drax wrote:wow. what a project. plleeeasssee say your bringing the finished project here to Santa Pod or for the UK Time Attack series?
I live near the track in Holland.. If I break down its not much hassle to get the car back to my workshop..
If i crash or break something in the UK i'm stuffed.. so would need to have an car transporter, suitable towing car and the applicable driving licence first. Its in my future plans but not just yet!

Nice build so far, loving it. Nice work on the downpipe & screamer pipe. Out of interest, how far does your downpipe hang in relation to the bottom of your car. I too have a 3" downpipe on mine and clearance is gonna be an issue, I was thinking of adding a reinforcement plate to the brace that ties the too subframes/crossmembers together. But now I have the Innovative traction bar in my sights through the group buy, I'm back to scratching my head for a solution.
