Tom, just a quick one

Did the sunroof panel come apart from the rest of the mechanism easily enough? Also what kind of brackets did you use to hold the panel in?

My sunroof is coming out ASAP weather permitting! More evil weight to go in the bin

Easy to do. I'll take some pics showing how the brackets are fixed.

No need!

Did mine today. Removed the panel from the rest of the mechanism then refitted to car with some riveted brackets & RTV sealant.

A few more kgs saved until I get my fibreglass bung

Fiddled with the car in the sun today.

Got my 3" harness fitted - couldn't resist it at £50!

Checked my front brakes as got bad judder half way through last track day. The DS3000
pads had almost completely glazed over!?

Never had this problem with DS2500's.

Got a file to them & cleaned them up. Hopefully they'll be alright now;

Also lowered the front ride height slightly to get more camber.

Tom did you bed your ds3000 pads in correctly? like 100mph to 10mph x 6 then 70mph to 10mph x 6 etc or something like that.... what i said is not exact but its something like that!

Followed this guide in 1st sesssion - didn't seem to help - may go back to ds2500's
