I don't think it matters what B series box it is as all the gear ratios and final drive will be custom as the dog gears will be manufactured specifically for that box. So sky is the limit for choice. You never know, after some digging I might find that it is just as easy to get a company to mod a H series box if it is all custom built anyway. That would sidestep B series fitment issues.

Its a scab I don't want to pick at ATM but I assume somewhere in the ball park region of £8K? A LOT of money but it will be worth it If I do this I still wont be the most expensive car in class I estimate that title goes to the Mazda RX8 that I was up against.

Edit - In relative terms I dont think it is that much though not when you start thinking about the price of other systems / components on the car, eg £2.5K for the cage, £2.5K for brakes & wheels, over £1.5K for the current gearbox and so on...

The final rounds of SLS 2016 will be covered on Motors TV on Friday night. I hope that this one will be much better as they got a bit of a slating last time. Plus the mid season coverage has actually been quite good this year .

I have contemplated having a sequential box myself for my track car, the only think I had a problem was getting a bellowing to fit the h22 engine,
