Cant be done. That means bending the diffuser up higher and the tow hook eye, bootfloor and rear ARB are all in the way.

Im going to see if i can make it stick out an 1" or 2 further and spray it.

Ratty, need some hints and tips.

I'm planning on rust proofing the S, just like you did in page 1. I'm looking at Bilt hamber and waxoyl website but there are so many products I'm confused as what to go for and in how much in quantity. :?

This is what I'm planning to do:
1, take off all the arch shields, wheels etc and then give it a proper clean with pressure washer.
2, Then after all the mud and jobby is gone I use _________?
3, what is that product you use when there is some rust on the body? The white stuff, to prevent more rust?

Sorry for this huge thread jack.

1- Remove all arches and crap etc Best bet is to put the car on 4 axle stands with the wheels off so YOU can get under it.
2- Pressure wash and screb everywhere
3- Bilt Hamber surfex HD neat and scrub everywhere
4- Make sure its dry
5- Any surface rust sand away and treat with either Hydrate80 or deox gel.
6- Zinc prime with electrox any bare metal and or rust repaired areas.
7- If you want you can use the Bilt Hamber Epoxy mastic 2 pac primer and paint it on over the top of the zinc primer. This will take at least 1 full day to cure and dry.
8- Start applying Dynax UB. The 1st coat wont go on well but stick with it.
9- Apply 3-4 coats EVERYWHERE. Usually 5 hours in summer heat is enough between coats.
10- Bilt Hamber Dynax S50 is every nut and cranny and all seals/seams and behind the fuel tank. Absolutely saturate everywhere with it. You want it dripping out of the seams.
11- Use Dynax UC for area that are visable as this dries clear. like arch edges.

I'm assuming most of the stuff is spray on stuff or do I have to apply with a brush!?

Plus how much quantity will I need for the whole underneath. I'll try and get some pics up as I go along but just a rough estimate..

The Epoxy mastic can be mixed to 5 parts primer and 1 part hardener and brushed on.
Electox can be spray with a rattle can, 1 can is needed.

1 can of elextrox
1ltr of epoxy mastic
3 litres of dynax UB (pretty sure i have 2 unopened tins spare.)
2 cans of Dynax S50
1 bottle of Surfex HD
1 can of dynax UC if you need it

I used about 4 cans of Dynax S-50. Used behind the bumpers, sills and inner rear arches etc. Any area that wasn't exposed to impact damage where Dynax UB was used.

Received the Dynax UB on Friday and this weekend I used it behind my car's front bumper and front wheel arches. Thanks RattyMcClelland.
