What front lip do you have on ! :o
It's a Custom Lip. JDM prelude lip with fibreglass moulded on to make it look like DC2 type R lip

Good work Mart. Got me rear spoon brace too which I've been meaning to fit.

As for the front, that pipe is very flexible. The bolt fixing down deep into the strut tower is a PITA to get to with the ABS and intake manifold in place. But you should be able to remove the next one along in the engine bay to free up some slack to bend it over slightly. Just be careful, it seems stiff until it starts to bend. It's only aluminum pipes.

If you do remove the aircon, just bend the pipes back and forth and they snap very easily eventually. Makes it easier to remove long stretches of it weaving in and out of things in the engine bay.

Cheers for the info Rob. I removed the aircon on the tracklude but it was that long ago I forgot exactly how it all went.
I removed the top 2 bolts and it didn't seem to move much. I never spotted any bolts lower down. As you say though, removing one down lower would probably give enough to just push it out of the way.

Marts lude - Summer Mode

Post by mart609 » Sun Apr 21, 2013 10:53 am

Basically I've fitted my Mugens for the summer :D
My wheel nuts were looking rather tired though. So I gave them a quick sand back and paint.
