Bucket Seat

Post by mart609 » Tue Jun 25, 2013 11:01 pm

First of all sorry I forgot to take more pics. Was on a tight time frame

So this came in the post yesterday. OMP Side Mounts

Image

So I could finally fit the Bucket Seat I bought off @dino a while ago

Also bought these from @Pedrodog66 8-) Original Lude rail.

Image

First thing was to grind off the the top bit from the left side rail

Image

Then I made the holes bigger and elongated the bottom hole so I could bolt it to the side mount

I forgot to take a pic of the other rail. But I used the original screw mount at the front and drilled a new hole in the OMP side mount. and bolted it down.
Grinded the middle screw mount flat.
At the bottom of the rail I drilled a new hole and fixed the with a new bolt to the Side mount.

Good job on the mounts bud. It would look better with another steering wheel?
Speaking of which, did you receive my parcel, never got a reply from you? At some point I need the SRS ribbon connection of you, the modified one in the box replaces it. Let me know.

Just need to do something similar on the Wagon now too.

If Im understand this correctly, you use a standard raisl slide seat fron/back, right? Seat is not pernamently fitted to the floor? You still can adjust a distance between s.wheel and seat?
ludes are ment to be driven, not wanking around on a stand like a Civic.
