Yeah the interior is almost there, need to refurb the front seats, and find the two small bits of red carpet that attaches just under the stereo.

I've just picked up some climair deflectors, JDM fogs instead of the UKDM fogs... Motegi body kit but needs painting black and Motegi badge. Got a A8 gearbox going in at the weekend with new clutch and flywheel along with a couple of service bits being done. Belts tightened after running them in, and a japspeed downpipe and mani going on to finish the exhaust system :-)

Where are you then bud, you must be close to Rickmansworth?

Oh really, yeah that will definitely be me, hope I wernt up her arse rushing to work... (no pun intended lol)
LOL. The wife laughed. As soon as she mentioned black lude in Croxley i knew ive seen someone on here with an avatar of a black lude in the chandlers cross area. Yeah we are in Kings Langley so not to far. She has a short journey into work although can be pretty long so she takes the back roads through chandlers cross which is a big help. Wished i had a short journey to work. lol. I have to travel to Slough so can take over an hour.

Crikey, you dont hang about. Great collection of parts already :) Going to look awesome once the motegi kit is on.

Yeah that's where I live in chandler's cross, the back roads are OK unless you get some bellend in an Arctic truck come down there thinking they found a shortcut lol.

Kings Langley is lovely aswell, stunning views!

Yeah I've been picking them up but ain't found the time to get it all painted and fitted yet. The gearbox has been a must tho as the fifth synchro has gone almost. Wanna have my Motegi wheels repainted but not sure what to go for...?

Yeah - Kings langley is great place, perfect location and access to all the major routes. lots of development is occurring which is a worry as the quiet small village its known for is fading fast.

she has been stuck behind lorries trying to take those very roads, she says its very annoying and can end up being very late for work.

I agree with sailor, go for the gun metal light grey. or even Black/Anthracitre like nitins car

Hope the gearbox work goes well, whilst its out why not get a final drive or LSD upgrade in there. Makes a world of difference

Yeah that colour is awesome, you still got them wheels on tour lude @nitin_s1

What would I need for a final driver or LSD a different box?

I heard a lot about LSD, but hadn't had a propa look into it yet..

For final drive this would need to be installed (remove oem item and install this)
Car accelerates much faster - if you check mfactory website there is a gear calculator on there
Although rpms will be higher - at 70mph you will be doing 3900rpm instead of oem 3600rpm
Prelude comes alive with it though.
http://www.tegiwaimports.com/mfactory-r ... -f20b.html

For LSD you need this. Remove oem open type diff in favor of this helical type LSD.
The prelude will quite literately turn like it is on rails when pushed.

Not cheap items but def worthwhile upgrade if your looking to keep your lude for long and specially if the box is already out its an ideal opportunity to take advantage.

An ATR LSD will fit if you can source one.

You would need new diff bearings and output shaft seals along with shimming too.

Havent updated things on here for a while, so I figure its due :)

So since the last update, shes been in and had a m2p4 gearbox installed with a new Exedy clutch :)

Finally I can drive my car with no irritating crunch between 4th & 5th, however where when the gearbox was installed it chucked out my tracking so pulling slightly to the left at the moment. Thanks to @Merlin I am able to have this done very shortly and should be a quick fix. Looking at the tyres its been out for some time but didnt feel it before so again will be kewl to have that all sorted.

I picked up another good condition 2.0 5G in black with the motegi bodykit installed. I really only bought it as it was rather cheap and I would save money buying this car for the kit, than having my silver set sprayed up.

So I the standard side skirts came off my car and revealed some very nice looking sills :)

I cleaned them down and installed the Motegi kit, which Ive been wanting back on the car for soooo long!

This is how she sits now...

You will see I installed some UKDM fogs that I wrapped yellow. I really like them, but Ive got a set of JDM ones aswell now which again Ill wrap yellow. I think they would look better? Whats your thoughts?

I got a JDM plate to go on the front this weekend which Im excited about also :)

Had issues with the car hunting this week but after some expert advise on his and a spare FITV later, its all sorted and idling better than before.

In the process I cleaned the IACV, replaced the FITV and cleaned and also bled the coolant. All things ticked off the list for summer service time :)

Sills look very clean as well as the car! I took my side skirts off ready for the chap to fix my arches at boydshop , I was very surprised that my sills was the same condition as yours!
