Re: newbe member and my lude
Ok got some ideas for my lude soon as she is back on the road. Wondering what's best bhp I can get out of her without turbos or going silly....

Re: newbe member and my lude
I'd like to be around the 220 to 235 mark, I don't know if that's at all possible but I have some savings and they are earmarked for prelude fun. Yeah mines a UK 182 bhp. It's basically bog standard but now their is light at the end of the tunnel I'm getting excited again!

for 220 you need;
- ATR (H22a7)/Type S/H22a8 cams
- ATR (H22a7)/Type S/H22a8 intake
- Type S ecu OR a remappable AEM ecu/P28 (or P30, P72) ecu & Hondata s200/300 chip & a remap!
for anything above 220/225 you'd need;
- ATR (H22a7)/Type S/H22a8 cams
- ATR (H22a7)/Type S/H22a8 11.1 pistons
- ATR (H22a7)/Skunk2 intake
- remappable AEM ecu/P28 (or P30, P72) ecu & Hondata s200/300 chip
- a better exhaust cat back, sports cat/decat pipe, and manifold & downpipe but nothing mega expensive needed, just avoid cheap stuff like Japspeed/Janspeed
- a remap!
you could find, buy & fit a whole ATR (H22a7)/Type S/H22a8 if you dont fancy rebuilding your engine, and get a remappable ecu of some kind

Re: newbe member and my lude
I think this is the road I'll be going down
- ATR (H22a7)/Type S/H22a8 cams
Are all these the same?

- ATR (H22a7)/Skunk2 intake
- remappable AEM ecu/P28 (or P30, P72) ecu & Hondata s200/300 chip
Does 5hd hondata chip get attached to the ecu?
- a better exhaust cat back, sports cat/decat pipe, and manifold and downpipe
Cheers.

I will be fitting and/am already running this list:
H22A2
Type s cams
Skunk 2 intake manifold
Skunk 2 68mm throttle body
Skunk 2 thermal intake manifold gasket
Fidanza lightweight flywheel
CDA intake filter - cold air feed
Stainless manifold
3 inch collector and downpipe (important)
H-Tune p28 with there basemap.
This lot will be getting mapped by Romain in the next few months. I will of corse run updates so keep an eye out bud. Should be in the 220bhp range. Oh and got a jdm lsd box to go on. Should accelerate like a rocket

I take it skunk do good modified parts...?Thebusofwoe wrote:I will be fitting and/am already running this list:

Oh yes. You have to remember that the H22 is a hungry engine because of its displacement. So the more air the better. Thats why the H22's respond so well to modifications. There is other options like the atr intake manifold but it req work to fit it. So ive now opted for the S2 intake as its easy and looks the part. Im currently running a ATR throttle body on the standard A2 intake (2mm bigger i think) and that made a noticeable difference imo.

Yeh all the cams in that list are the same, and all the pistons in that list are the same too. The hondata chip will need professionally attaching to one of those ecu's in that list you purchase. If it's a 2nd hand combo of them together already done then bonus! Otherwise most people you buy them from offer the fitting service. Skunk2 parts are good but expensive, Atr inlet is what the Skunk2 inlet is based on but you can pick up atr inlets cheaper.
