Sorry, I've just realised how badly I worded that
When I said higher, I actually meant firmer. Some seem to have this idea that they should have the rears firmer than the front on a lude, IMHO all this will do is make the back more skittish.
The lude has a 52F/48R weight bias IIRC, so having a little firmer up front allows for the extra weight and helps a balanced feel through the corners.
It's a personal thing, sure, but I find that rule is a good starting point from which to fiddle to your liking!
