Curious, because (without any direct experience on these things) on a turbo build, I'd be surprised if it yields any benefit? I say that because so much of the power comes from the turbo, that I struggle to see how the balance shaft would 'hold it back'?
I believe it is more for increased oil presure than peformance!
Blocking a couple of oil galleries that feed the balance shaft will make absolutely no measurable difference to the oil pressure on the rest of the engine IMO. There's a lot of BS that gets bandied around about these things and quickly becomes 'fact' on the internet...
Disagree completely, its not a couple and they aren't small feeds amd with these motors knocking on a little now there is going to be a little slack in the bearings amd shafts themselves.

Its also another thing not to go wrong and leave your lovely car parked next to the road with no oil in it :P

Gt2871r? I can't read the plate from the pics. If i guessed right im gonna feel like some sort of turbo guru.

Regarding balance shafts. Think of removing them like getting a lightened flywheel. Less mass to lug around plus they seem to be less usefull at high rpm (where us Honda boys like to sit)
