Yes i know mate - my finger did hover over the refund button in paypal
Originally the car was gong away on a trailer and i was fitting scrap wheels and keeping the plm&mugen twin loop exhaust but due to high cost of transporting the car from edinburgh to london via a trailer that had to be changed to someone coming up and driving it down.
Gutted i had to throw in the motegi wheels & let the car go with the exhaust. The wheels were due to a miscalculation on my side as i thought the alloys on the 2 litre lude i bought recently would do but they were touching the 282mm calipers on the BB4 so were a no go.
I will miss the sound of the plm/mugen twin loop :(

i should clarify as the exhaust had to remain on the car a price was agreed for it - it was only the motegi wheels that were a free upgrade.
like i said this was due to my miscalculation.
the new owner has a big task ahead getting the bodywork sorted so i was happy to help any way i could.
the only other alternative open to me would have been to break the car for parts at some point down the road and i didnt want to do that :)

Does the roof still need fixing from when the bonnet blew back?

Drove the car a couple of times. Insanely quick with the oem upgrades to the engine and the plm (one of the few parts I've regretted selling). Handling was also spot on and cornered extremely well.

Will certainly be strange popping round to see you bud and not seeing the car as I still have a huge soft spot for 4th gens.

Ive not known of anyone keeping a car for that period of time. Must have been a hard decision.
Glad it went to a good home though.
