sure mate, traction with 225/45/17 R888 tires on 17x9 is just... EPIC. Starts like crazy even though it has lots of torque with turbo, these wheels gave an incredible traction while attempting the 1/4mile runs! my clutch doesn't love me for that however :D I'll need to change it quickly, for now i have an exedy stage1, but for this setup i might need some stage3 clutch i suppose ;)

Thanks a lot for all your nice comments ! great to hear that someone likes that :) for those who will come to Nurburgring on the 27th june you will be able to see the car and have some chat with me if u want :)

hard to say what's the best time for this cars capabilities, I did only one try on a very low boost like 0,3ba (4-5psi) and it was 14.0 ET, but at the desired boost that I want to stay with, which is around 0,6-0,7 (10 psi) I think I'll do around 13.5 and that's really fine for me :)

a friend of mine has similar setup but with larger turbo (holset hx40!) and his car does 13.2... still on a bone stock F22B engine :)

Okay, I have a question for you guys, especially for those of you who have some experience with boosted preludes - do you have any recommendation for me what clutch should I buy ? I've just finished my beloved Exedy clutch that was fine for 3 years of hard moments with me, but its dead now :D The target torque is around 250-300lbs/ft (350-400Nm).

Hello mate,

Your 'lude is gorgeous. IMO it's 99% perfect. If it was mine (and only because this is my preference) I would change the front lip to a black one so it ties in with the arch extensions. A bit like si import's above:

I thought the car looked great in the first page but I think you've done a really good job improving it even further!

Vlad, personally id go for an ACT clutch or Competition Clutch.
Good quality items and have plenty of experience with supplying clutches for boosted applications.
Stay away from the likes of F1 & Exeddy...... ive seen plenty of failures on these, especially under stressfull yrack conditions

I'm sure Dino has been through his fair share of performance clutches  I'm going to be using the Competition Clutch Stage 5. They are a decent price but I have not used it yet:

Hi guys, it's been a while since my last visit here :)

so what happened during the last 8 months... till the end of 2013 I didn't do much, finally my clutch came from US in December - I bought an XTD stage3 clutch - pretty cheap and has a good opinion among people who run it in boosted civic's here, so I decided to take the risk and go for this cheaper option instead of ACT which costs 3 times more ;)

in January i started to look for a transmission to build a hybrid of two trannies, and finally found it - I bought U2N4 from 6th gen accord sedan, which was perfect to make a "fusion" with my U2Q7 which comes from the same chassis :) so what we did in general - we have opened two transmissions, I took all of the gears from the very long U2N4 and put them inside the U2Q7 keeping the LSD and whole differential from u2q7 :) nice and easy :) some photos below :)

the next stage was the ecu tuning for 1bar (14psi) of boost, which took several days but finally we did it and the setup at 14psi runs great, should be around 350bhp and it's pretty enough for me - last saturday we had out national Prelude meeting, and some 1/4 mile racing, and I ran 13.2sec ET which is quite satisfying for me :)

additional thing I did is the lightweight hood, I also made some air vents as there are some pretty bad temperatures under the hood at this stage :) It really does the job! :)

pictures below, enjoy! :)
