This is where the arches were cut out and replaced really good job as until I polished it today I couldn't tell not sure the pic shows but there is a little bit o webbing

Nice one of my next questions was whether that kit was factory fitted or not?

Yeah definitely needs lowered. Shockies ain't the amazing either so I'll kill two birds with one stone there.

Anyone any idea if there is any way to repair those scratches or is it a respray jobbie?

Also I'm looking to get a square plate for the front and move it to the bottom passenger side. Is this a big job? ie does the whole bumper need filled and resprayed where the numberplate screws in or is there an easier way?

It's a factory kit but there are replicas of the same kit out there too. Sometimes called bubble kits.

Can't make out the scratches in the pics on my phone, but removing the numberplate bracket will leave a few holes.
You might as well get them filled and painted along with the front lip if that's your plan. Or stick a couple of grommets in the holes.

Where would I find these grommets? I think the spray job is a year or so away I think but if I can get some of the grommets I might do it sooner. Is this something you have done before? Do you know if I'll need the wee angled bracket for attaching it to the new spot?

Smart looking lude.

Provided it's all as per the oem installation, the number plate holder comes off without leaving any holes on the bumper.

Look up underneath the back of the plastic number plate holder (if that makes sense?) and you'll see the heads of 2 bolts looking down at you. Undo them (be careful, possibly seized and the clips will therefore possibly tear out of the number plate holder) and the number plate holder comes off the bumper, complete with the number plate. Provided no-one's bodged anything, that is it and there will be no holes showing on the bumper. Likely to be scratches in the paint though, where the holder has been rubbing against the bumper.

If someone's used normal screws to fix the plate to the number plate holder, it's possible they'll have screwed right through into the bumper and that will leave you with a couple of holes to repair.

EDIT: Arrrggghhh :facepalm: that damage to the rear quarter is an arse! Have you got the culprit's details to make them pay?

my plate is craply attached via cable ties and has been for the last 4 years lol ideally getting a jdm tilter plate and screw that in, depends where and how you want it
