Ok over the weekend I bought the following car, which some of you have spoke to me about ref: dodgy lude seller...but I have it a green 2.2 N Reg which I paid 400 pounds for which after driving from Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire to Devon to collect it then down to Cornwall for our holiday and back home it's quite a trip.

However I'm happy, it's got fsh some from honda and it's only done 63500 miles, it's got a hideously rusted sunroof which I expected and a damaged wing which I knew about and it's quite possibly the most dirty car I've ever seen....but i'm chuffed. I've rescued it from a life of sitting under a tree gathering bird poo.

The main thing...

All the sawblades are spinning in the right direction :!:

Only joking, I'm chuffed you followed your heart and came out trumps :D Nothing that isn't easily treatable, so great gamble ;-)

Thing is mechanically it feels better than my lude I'm taking to japfest, it's just so unloved I feel sorry for it.
If it were a dog the rspca would be taking the owners to court.

Well I'm thinking about a colour change though, I don't like the green to be honest.

Would you do the engine bay as well? Nothing worse than a different coloured engine bay (Unless it's a neutral colour).

I know....I'm not sure what to do. Swap engines might be easier including the gearbox and dash.
