Well here we go.,

Just thought I would post up the daily tramp as It will be getting all sorts of new touch's over the next few months ( will be photo heavy). I picked up the car in April for next to nothing and she needs a bit here and there but it will be a keeper as Ive always fancied another 5th Gen Prelude.

Spec as Bought  (I will update As I go along )

1996 BB6 Prelude Type S ATTS
Tein Lowering Springs
R Spec Vtec Controler
Standard type S Wheels painted black
Momo corse Wheel
Full fujitsubo exhaust ( Small Blow on the Flange )
Cheap induction kit

Here she the day I collected Terrible Photos from the previous owner

And After the Drive Home

After a long drive home I sussed

5th Gear was becoming notchy
rear right wheel bearing was toast
drop links and most bushings where fooked
and I wasn't happy with the Tein lowering springs
hated the momo wheel and have to move the vtec controller
new gear knob and a good service.

But a result as it was very very cheap Vtec fun and I have loads of plans Such as

Red SIR Door Inserts ( maybe )
Red SIR Half DASH ( maybe )
RED SIR Carpet + Mats
Red S2000 or Red DC2 or Ep3 Recaros
Type S Carbon Trim ( this was removed at some stage )
Sk2 Wheel ( Done )
EP3 Wheels ( Done )
Gear Knob & Gaiter
Motegi or type s extended Rear Lip
Coilovers or New shocks on fresher springs
Aem v2 or original Type S air box
Original Type S back box
Full Polybush kit
Some Head Work ( Cams ETC )
New 5th and 5.1 Final Drive ( unsure on the atts box )
Some Paint here and there

This list will grow and im open to ideas and suggestions

so after driving it for a few days that Momo started to bother me.

Image

So i had two wheels in mind dc2 type r non air bag and a AP1 s2k wheel.

After viewing 5+ dc2 wheels that where in awful states a mint as new s2k wheel popped up..

(Photos for reverence only stolen from the internet)

Image

Small Mod required ....

S2k Wheel before

And After

and the finished product is was pretty pleased with

s2k wheel gives a little more leg clearance so massive improvement IMO.

Welcome. Looks real nice.
Unfortunately there are no gearbox tunning options for any ATTS transmissions apart from flywheel and clutch.

I have an original sorted I think but I'll keep you posted
I was planning on chopping this up and using the pipe and flange on a mugen twin loop I have in the shed.
