will do!! if she survives ... :scaredtoss:

the tuner said because the engine hasn't been broken in yet, he will do a mild tune and not push it too much - he said run it in a little while then come back and if all is ok then a much more aggressive tune can then be done. this means the figures probably wont be anything to write home about first time around

Had a call from the tuner earlier, most things seem fine but the head sounds very rattly :? I can only think it's the lma's being 2nd hand and worn maybe...

Cambelt is fine, only other thought is oil starvation to the head, but I hope not. He said he'll take off the rocker and have a butchers

had another call, shes ready to pickup ..... :o :o :o

the rattling sounds better according to the tuner and suspects what i thought, just worn 2nd hand lma's.

JESUS im nervous to drive it now  :D it's only been tuned to about 6500rpm so that the engine can bed in, then ill take it back for a better tune.

So did he do anything to make them sound better? I'd look at replacing them soon. I had one snap when Rich first put mine on the dyno :|

Do you have any preliminary figures?

like a proper racecar   BUT i haven't give it some yet, i was too cautious on the way home, just wanted to get her back for now.

the LSD is very loud  but Merlin said it would be, that's fine. any blip of the throttle is extreme instant power response :o but as i said, it's only had a mild tune, i havnt even taken it into tec yet :? but i will asap for a sneaky little run :hurr:

the clutch, even though brand new, seems very high and almost like it's slipping :? thats the only "hhmm" moment ive had so far. the whole body vibrates on tickover like a racecar haha but that will be the poly-filled mounts.
