ive added padding to my door rollbar, and tried it in my helmet and it seems fine - maybe im shorter than you though :? im about 5'11

i also asked the welder to go as close to the roof as possible which helps.

bit of track day prep yesterday with njord who is doubling up with me on Friday at Oulton Park;

swapped the front pads for new PBS ones (couldn't find anyone at the time with 2500's in stock at the time), ill see what these are like. Also re-did the brake fluid all round, clutch fluid and topped up the others. We also fitted a new uprated front lower Whiteline ARB, plus lowered the meisterR's a touch at the front.

mind u the ludes seem to handle wet conditions quite well imo ;)

mate it was soaking, and raining for a good chunk of the day but i had a set of Uniroyal Rainsport 5's as a spare set and WOW they stuck to the road like glue in the conditions!! it was like driving in the dry, no issues at all unless you simply out braked yourself or put the power down too early. the Prelude was amazing the whole day :twisted:

winter projects have started....
the smurf is coming out, already started unplugging her. need to replace the crank main bearings, fix the 2nd gear crunch in the box and likely delete the abs.
first i need to finish refurbing the old engine for selling so i can get the stand free;
started the other week

So the smurf was removed last weekend

gearbox to be sent for fixing, and the smurf to be put on the stand to see what's making the noise
