yep the car is transformed tbh - i think these bushes have started to wear out pretty quick - maybe 2 years in and gradually got worse and worse.

and thanks for the lift over in the torneo to pick up the BB4 - bit annoyed that the guy in kfc asked about your car and didnt mention the BB4 at all

Fuel leak and thoughts on selling BB4

argggh just i get all the suspension sorted the BB4 decided to spring a leak in the fuel line so its been sat at the side of the road for the last month.
it been too cold to go out and work on it and leaking fuel means moving it will be a right pain. fairly sure the leak is just under the fuel union on the main pressurised hard pipe that goes to the front so worst place possible - if it had been a couple of inches either side of the union then it would be an far easier fix

ive even had thoughts of breaking it or selling it as is but maybe the best option would be to take all the good stuff off it and turn it back to stock and then sell it on as a project car so it can live on:shock:

if i do fix it no doubt i will find a way to keep it for another year

Fix it!! No other option. Man up... And wait for a warmer dryer day :D

Or pop it to a reliable mechanic to sort :) I'd probably do that tbf

well your BB4 is in much better condition than my one and I sold it for £800. The price of these is going up so make sure you get what you want for it, the power of FB and the response I got was crazy. Car was sold within 18 hours.

but my opinion - Keep it.

i have had the return line fixed a year or so ago but that one was an easy job - this one will most probably need the tank dropped and a new main pressurised line put in from the tank to the front of the car - i had asked a couple of times for garages to have a look but nobody has been willing to take the pepsi challenge  dont blame them all the pipes look rusty and taking the tank off might mean i need to replace a lot of other pipes etc. I do have a spare tank and lines all done up ready to fit but i imagine it would be too expensive to get a garage to carry out the work - so its down to me and i just dont fancy taking on this job at the moment
