For an h22a2? That's pretty good.
how comes using a Jdm ecu rather than chipping a Ukdm ecu?

Yes it's an A2. Responded well to the mods!
I don't think the UKDM ecu is chippable- whereas I bought the JDM ECU socketed then bought one of the Spoon copy chips from Rob on here. Straight swap.
Tried the Rev limited & non limited versions. No discernible difference in power

You can chip some Ukdm ecu's, depends on the particular model number of your ecu IIRC (the one in my Ukdm can and will eventually get be chipped!).

I thought running a Jdm ecu on an a2 was a bad idea because firstly it's tuned for a different compression engine and secondly it will be looking for a knock sensor (which it won't find)?

Do I have that wrong?

Mine runs spot on with the JDM. I was worried about the difference in CR from h22a to a2 but it runs great
CEL illuminates after a few miles but as its a track car it's no drama.
I just make sure not to be greedy with ign timing
