My reason for wanting to convert to 2WS is clearance, but until the coilovers are on and i have the tyre size i want i won't know. Can you simply disconnect the 4ws computer and all will be well!? I was thinking to try that but thought the rear may need to be locked out or something :?

I will update when the coilovers arrive and are fitted, then let you all know how good/bad i think they are a few weeks after!

No you cant do it safely.

Unless you go super slammed you shouldn't have much issue with 4WS. You can trim the bumper back a bit to give the wheel more room to turn http://www.ludegeneration.co.uk/honda-p ... -t535.html

Thanks for the link, i rolled the arches last week ready for it to be lowered down and did notice the tab for the bumper sits a lot higher than other cars and that i would need trimming down. Always handy to have something to follow though!

Like i said i'll see how it all goes with the 4WS when lowered down, idealy i'd like to keep it as it makes turning around on my dead end road much easier

Without 4WS it does turn into something of a supertanker in tight spaces  And as said, unless you're swapping the rear subframes there isn't a way to disable it. When the light is on your top speed is meant to be less than 50mph till you can get the 'fault' fixed, and all that holds the rear wheels straight are two large springs
