Vtecmec I read the article, interesting solution. However I am unable to do the exact same thing as my air filter is placed directly on turbo housing. Care to explain how you achieved your version, maybe that would fit my situation more?
Sorry, only just spotted this. Just a small adapter between turbo and intake.

Like this...

But cheaper..... :D

No problem, but you missed the "party" :(
Engine is pulled out due to extreme oil consumption and I am yet again on boosted stock f20a4. I have to dismantle Frankenstein to see what went wrong. It had tons of power with wastegate fixed open, but there were pools of oil on top of pistons when plugs were pulled. (Not the pcv, not the head). I am taking it to a different machine shop than the one that did boring and honing to get a second opinion.
Anyway, I did the oil catch can like you suggested but unfortunately I don't have even a centimetre to spare between turbo and air filter, so I fitted a brass tap used for lpg injectors directly on air filter frame and the rest is as you explained. Nice find

I have just read through the build, amazing work. Must be the most in depth build Iv seen on a Prelude, it will be like a brand new car.
Do you have any photos of it finished in the sun with the new paint? I want to redo all the bushings on my Prelude as well. It feels a bit boaty at the moment, do you know roughly how much it cost to buy all the bushes needed?
@LudeLuke Sorry I missed your question. There wasn't much sun when I was taking test rides, I only have a few pictures that don't really show the colour. Here is the link to bushings set. Front anti-roll bar is the only difference. Smaller for 2.0 engine, larger for 2.2 https://www.strongflex.eu/en/v-96-01/20 ... 28824.html

This one is probably showing the colour best, but it has smudges all over from pushing it around the garage:

Oh no, I know how much effort goes into this sort of thing so I am genuinely gutted for you. :(

Sounds like either the piston to wall clearance or ring gaps is not right.

Thanks,I triple checked ring gaps myself, they are fine but I had no way of checking p2w clearance except trusting the machine shop. I guess we will know when I find the will to take it apart. To be honest I expected issues with a build that hasn’t been done before, but not this much

Had a first joyride after 4 years of tinkering

Did you know that chrome part of inner handles are exactly the same as in accord CB7? Here are my new shiny handles:

I also got a 3D printer recently and learned some basic modeling so here is some ICE-related printed stuff:

Tablet holder, it's a perfect fit behind OEM headunit bezel:

Tweeter adapters (need to adjust the angle yet, this one makes them tweet in the wrong direction):

Still 2.0 in there I'm afraid. I am waiting on Wiseco rings since November 2020 :(
Nevertheless I am glad I can finally drive it after all this time.

New goodies: mint condition Recaro seats from Civic EP3 Premier edition.

There is a slight difference in bolt pattern because Recaros are narrower. Front lobes on seat rails were pivoted by 180 degrees to fit the chassis mount points and rear lobes were transferred from Prelude seats. Because of width difference, rear lobes had to be angled by 6 degrees:

That was visually appaling to me, so I 3d printed new covers:

And the final result:
