fair enough, keep doing what you are doing it looks good.

Though with a darkened lacquer it would look mean!

Sounds like a very interesting engine build there.

FWIW I like the oem green too, but there you go.

Green BB9

So it's been a while. 4 years to be exact...

Believe it or not, the chassis was "under construction" this whole time. I sourced out new OEM quarter panels and decided it was time do a restoration instead of respray. Unfortunately for me, I cannot get it delivered until country leaves the lockdown, so hopefully I can start reassembling it in a few weeks. Chassis restoration process can be seen here, unfortunately latest pic I have is after sitting for months in dusty storage but as soon as I get it delivered during next month, I will update it. I decided to go with Deep Bronze after all.

I wasn't very enthusiastic it will ever be over so I didn't hurry with engine rebuild either, but now that it is, let me introduce you to my Frankenstein engine:

F20a4 block (219.5mm deck height)
F22a6 crank (increased stroke to 95 mm)
H22 Eagle forged connecting rods, model CRS5630H3D. 143mm length
Wiseco forged pistons for Mitsubishi Evo stroker, 28.7 mm compression height, -12cc dish, 85.25mm diameter
H23a2 head, 50cc combustion chamber
H23a2 intake manifold, with butterfly valves retained
H23a ARP head-studs
Rebuilt valvetrain with new OEM parts
A metric ton of all new OEM bearings, gaskets, seals and washers.
Retained the existing Milletech exhaust, turbo and fuel delivery system
That leaves my 5-in-1 engine with 9.04:1 compression ratio, 2.169cc of displacement and DOHC instead of SOHC this time.

Here are some pictures:
