Yea they are the same ones I had but I think my tyres were 215/60/R16, I was gonna refurbish mine but found a cheap set of nice alloys with brand new tyres for cheap money so I went for that.
If it's a 2.2 ur after then you could start stockpiling parts now for it when you find one :D you already have sir front brakes :)

Those are original optional Motegi 2000 wheels. Are you sure they are not 205/50/16. That the size they should be and look like a 50 profile.

You're quite right, that was a typo. The tyres are 205/50/16.

Unfortunately, whilst the tyres have plenty of tread, they're a bit of a mish mash of nonsense brands (1 x Nexen, 1 x Westlake, 2 x Wanli), and you can tell! So I was looking at prices for a decent deal on new set of Michelin or Pirellis. The usual tyre sites suggest the car should have 15" wheels, hence the question.

Any particular tyre recommendations?

The only choice you should be choosing is
Uniroyal Rainsport 3. At £58.60 per tyres these are a no brainer.

A lot of us run them and I have them on my van. They are perfect for freaking insane driving, comfort and UK weather.

Can't say I'm familiar with the brand, but I can see from a quick search that they're popular here. I was thinking something like Michelin Pilot Sport 3.

Are they genuinely good in the dry?

Stiff sidewalls?

Uniroyal are owned by continental. They are superb. I have the load rated tyres so the sidewalls Are stiff and offer exellent rim protection. I kerbed my vans 9.5" wheels on continental van contacts at 235/55/17. But now I'm on 10" wheels with rainsport 3 235/55/17 and the protection is great. You cant kerb the wheel even if you try.

On the lude is run Yokohama AD08s and I love those but the lude isn't a daily driver.

Having owned a 5th gen 2.0 the 282 brake upgrade from the vtec models is one of the best mods you will ever do to the car.

Im 100% sure you need the carriers and calipers of the vtec model, mb6 civic, itr dc2 98 spec and ukdm as the calipers are smaller (ratty you sure there the same calipers?), discs of a 4th gen and pads of any of the above.

Just checked part numbers and the 2.0 and 2.2 use different calipers and pads so newkids right. The calipers are a tad bigger and so are the pads.

Do the whole front brake upgrade.
