Thanks guys :)

Had an issue with the gearbox - could not downshift from 4th to 3rd when out for a drive on the B roads. :(
Traced that to low fluid which then led to inspection of clutch master and slave cylinder - both were leaking.
Changed both of them with new ones by blueprint and new motul racing clutch fluid - very happy now - but doing the job took a good 3 hours with Merlin helping out so not that easy imo.

I have also fitted the new 4 plug P13 tcs ecu with spoon v2 chip - very happy now.

To be honest it has been a very busy year so far with this lude needing a lot of tlc

Did it take long to bleed all of that, vanzep?
I need to change my clutch master cylinder very soon myself.

TBH it's no more difficult than bleeding brakes. I think it took about 4 clutch fluid reservoir's worth of fluid before all the air was out and the pedal felt firm. The most difficult part of the job is being in the drivers footwell, on your back looking up and trying to use your left arm only to do all the bits with the rod and nuts.

The bleeding was the easy part - I think the difficult part is getting the new mc bolted in place. The top stud is difficult to access straight on so when i tried to thread the nut on i damaged the thread. Had to take it off and clean it up. Got a bit of a sore neck and back from being scrunched up in the footwell.

Also I noticed a leak from one of the pipes coming from the vss - so I need to fix that. :)

Quarter Mile Times from Crail 18/2/2024
https://www.crailraceway.co.uk/wp/18-02 ... t-results/
Always a good benchmark. !5.69
The BB1 is a full second slower than my old BB4 so plenty of room for improvement
I have some A8 / Type S cams which may make a difference.
All in all I am fairly satisfied that the BB1 is running well.

Couple of pics from Crail :
CRX with K20 ? running 13's - up against one of the quickest cars - Audi with big turbo and dsg gearbox (got off the line perfect everytime)
Image
BB1 v brand new bmw R3? you can see he has taped over number plates.....running 13s
Image
two very fast 911 supercharged - both looked new but you can see slight differences in wing and lights at back so they must be different years - both running in the 11's - they were quick but hitting limiters all the way down the track.
