Hi everyone, went back the same dyno that I went before when I got 205bhp this time with only change being I've cut out the silencer and replaced it with a straight pipe( silencers is the front one) the car has come back 193bhp . Any ideas why, surely the silecner wouldn't lose the car that much power

There could be a number of factors including the condition of the dyno or the air temp/humidity.

With regards to your exhaust, what diameter is it? Removing the silencer could have an adverse effect on back-pressure and reduce power.

I think it's 2.25 . I thought that removing the silencer on a n/a the backpressure wouldn't make much difference ? I hope it's down to conditions as the car hasn't missed a beat since the last dyno run

No, at 2.25" I wouldn't have thought it would be an issue. If it were a gaping 3" straight through bucket on a non-mod'd engine then that might be something to consider. Atmospheric changes can make all the difference, I wouldn't worry.

Ok cheers, could it be that the engine needs to read the changes as I've only done 80 mile since the exhaust changes or doesn't that matter about a ecu relearn

Disconnect the battery for 30 seconds if you haven't already done that then. That'll make it relearn.
