Marshall Honda, (York) and Pulleyns bodyshop have been superb. It's become a point of pride for them and they 'get' the Prelude.
I'd prepped the service manager last year with a wish list of jobs I'd like to be done. Set a budget for Honda and waited to see how much I could get done.
I think you are right Wurly, I don't think many main dealers would take on such a long 'to do' list, especially where parts can be hard to find.

First chance to see some of the work done.
Spent a bit of time with some degreaser, brushes, etc.
Pretty pleased with how it looks, not perfect, but a big improvement over how it looked a few years ago:

Heatshield is spot on and overall really pleased with the engine bay.
Next up sealant/wax and ready the Lude for Beaulieu.

Just seen,what the pictures don't show is a quick sand down and paint of the horns.

Recommended. Found it pretty decent, sprayed it on a brush then scrubbed.

On a personal note...
Damned good to be reunited with the Lude after several months.

I commissioned my talented Niece to do some artwork for a brief Prelude info sheet for the Japanese Performance Show.
