Its a switch to turn limiter on and off. The japs hide them so come there mot time the limiter is simply switched back on.

Mates prelude years ago had a switch behind the stereo. Pressed it once limiter on. Pressed it again limiter off. Two of the ones I've broken the switch has been behind the drivers tweeter.wurlycorner wrote:Interesting... Good progress there, sweating you say ,i can't count the amount of tshirts and pants i've thrown out after doing car work in that heat, far from a wash to save them with that aroma
I should invest in some overalls but then it's a great way to get through the old clobber!
So planning on doing the timing belt and the rest soon?
The shell looks nearly done for now.
I kept the roof lining and and sunvisors of my crashed one a few years back,if it comes off there's a box for it yes they still sit there but someday i may get that query or self use
Sunroof motor and it's inside lining too.
If the rear bumper sits good too the mounting that holds it on is also a good thing to keep, one of those randoms you wouldn't think of,i had a fellow luder take the one of my wreck at the last minute.
I'm looking for some small clips and stuff soon make sure you give me a yell before it goes,

Re: JEBB4's White BB2 (yang).BB1 Donar car bought pics page
not much has happened here really, got the lump on the stand and started stripping the engine for rebuild and got as far as the crank pulley which was very tight as predicted so with no air tools that's where I stopped.
I am able to get my hands on a small compressor so I'll get it off soon but got a house inspection this week so trying to keep the garage tidy...
When stripping the engine I obviously noticed it is leaking oil very badly but more annoying is that the knock sensor is broken
Also found it had a Honda oe oil filter and timing belt fitted which to me means it's been looked after at a dealer which judging by the car in general I can imagine that was a long time ago and that this has not been serviced for a long time
I'm certain the stem seals are leaking badly due to the state of the intake ports so good job it's having a rebuild..
