I told them I wanted the longest quietest middle silencer available
 I had the same mandate for mine.

The car is looking great.
thank you sir, how did yours turn out in the end? What did it sound like, i personally much prefer the sound of the intake thank the exhaust.

205.40.17... If not less refined!
Yes - my 5th gen is ruined on this tyre size (teins/yellow bushes), but it pains me to buy new tyres when the olds are not even worn :(
Thank you, yes its definitley a firmer ride

Really well thanks, I can hear the intake doing its bits, the radio at all engine revs and it's quiet at motorway crosse speeds. Loud exhausts are for others, quiet ones for the driver.......

Perfect, that's just what I wanted to hear 8) I really don't think the sound of these old 3rd gens can justify a sporty sounding exhaust they are a bit like a moped and without really having much go in them... much better to be seen and not heard!

I repainted the rear shelf and original speaker grills black (they were greyish brown) in preparation to fit the new/old speakers into the original mounts. I had to cut the hole about 5mm bigger to fit the 13cm speakers and I cut up an old black T-Shirt to fully conceal them behind the grills.

Anyone familiar with Yorkshire landmarks might recognise the second picture from a slightly different angle as non other than Scammonden Bridge... Or Rainbow bridge on the M62. Or as I like to call it, foo*** high bridge!
