RudeLude’s 1997 Type S - (Pg 9 for 2018 pics)
So I'm back for a few weeks and finally got to see my internet purchase and yes it's a bit of a state but the work has commenced.... As MLK said " I have a dream "......
Been collecting many parts over the last 12 months and thanks to forum members, I can't recall everyone's names...
The member who sold me the red interior and OBX hoses, it was over 9 months ago, I forgot your name...
Ek9 sid who sold me purple motegi wheels and falken tyres, they R refurbed and white. And also a big thanks for the ATR calipers and carriers and refurbing them.
Samiya for the bootlock. It filled the gap..
MOT took a few days as needed tie rod ends on the front and some other niggly bits. Also had it Undersealed.
Today it's been in for a major service, I bought Honda original bits, cost around £370..witha discount. Timing belt, cambelt, waterpump, rocker cover gasket kit, 7 liters of rad fluid, air/oil/fuel filters.
This is how the car came to me about a year ago, it was a non runner, driving, mot had a few days left on it, a hole where the bootlock should be, driver side window held up with sellotape, the rear lip was inside the car, back bumper was scarred badly, and the cam belt hadn't been chnaged in 10 years... Why did I buy it...... Not even sure...lol
This is how it came...
And the Magic begins to take place:

The worst seems around the boot and rear arches, not so bad they need replacing. The rear lip is missing too..vanzep wrote:good work - lots of OEM parts and some ATR brakes
