Prelude to a build

Started digging into the rear sills and arches a couple of days ago and found lots of rust.
I've been cutting it all out and I'm almost ready to start replacing it all.
I dare say the drivers side rear will need the same treatment too.

Cheers Drax, this type of work is all new to me if I'm honest. I've never even used a welder before but I have loads of bits of metal that were donated for the cause.
I'm gonna take my time and make sure it's done as well as I can.

Quick question folks, I'm in the process of changing my rear main seal and I'm wondering if I need to buy buy new bolts for the flywheel or are they reusable please?

flywheel bolts are reusable

nice purchase Hondata S300 and good work on getting rid of the rust - get some bilt hamber cavity wax with long lance and get it in there.

Thanks very much for the replies, lads. I ended up going straight for the nuclear option with the rear arches. They were too far gone to repair. I found patch panels online and bought them. I'm not gonna put them in my myself though, that's way above my pay grade.

I'm changing every oil seal and gasket while I have it off the road and in the workshop. I got and updated clutch too while I was at it.

There's the uprated clutch kit I bought. I found a Dutch site that sells tons of Prelude parts for great prices and they have a fantastic range.
