That's both arches and sills done now. Such a relief to finally get to this stage. It needs another coat of filler and then it's ready for painting.

Finally painted, back to my place tomorrow to start nailing it all back together and give the wheel arches a good scrub.

And it's home and back on the road. I've only put about 60 miles on it since changing the clutch, belts and seals.
I've been taking it very easy on it so far. How many miles should I put on it before opening up the taps a bit?

looks fantastic :)
I think you should take it a good run, get it well warmed up and open the taps.
It is the best way to find if there are any faults and ive always felt that the ludes with H engines respond well to be taken up the rev range.
When i did the quarter mile runs in my old BB4 i could comfortably do 20+ consecutive runs whilst others with more modern cars were always having to let their cars cool down etc

I've put about five hundred miles on it now it so far and everything seems hunky dorey. A friend who knows better told me to give her some stick to bed the clutch in properly.
I'd been driving it like a granny because I thought it was I was supposed to do. I haven't done any hard starts but I have rung it's neck in second gear onwards up to flat out in fifth a few times since then.
I think it's time to get the Hondata and type r intake installed to see what's what.

I stripped the interior and took a few panels off to Waxoyl the car.
I also scrubbed and steam cleaned the whole interior while I was at it.
After that I machine polished the whole car and put about 5 coats of ceramic coating onto it.
It's going back on the road on Saturday which is the 1st of the new month. I splashed out on three months tax!
