Spent the day scrubbing and grinding rust and sprayed the fuel tank in bitumen spray.

I painted the whole rear end in rust encapsulater before I left. Should be interesting to see what it looks like in the morning.

The rust reverser worked a treat. A quick scrub and three coats of under underseal later and it's nearly ready to put back together.

I scrubbed and painted the rear crossmember and 4WS motor too.

Got the fuel tank, rear subframe, heat shield, exhaust and 4WS system nailed back in today.

Started scrubbing whatever suspension parts that are getting reused too. I'm hoping to get the whole lot painted tomorrow.

I'm waiting on two new ball joints to land and then it'll be all back together and ready to finally head off to the panel beaters.

It's getting very close now. Still waiting on the new ball joints though.

Rear strut brace, most of the suspension and the anitiroll bar put in today.

Yeah, it's dragging on alright but it's a jobby ton of work and it's SORN right now as well.
I'm hoping to get it back on the road for next month.
The road tax here in Ireland is criminally expensive.

The ball joints landed and I got it all put back together and on the ground.
The Saab/Opel track rod ends went on without any problems either.

My pal is out the door busy at the minute but I'm hoping he can get me into his body shop asap.

Long story, clayed, buffed and waxed. Rad neck bit the dust on the way back from getting a full alignment and camber adjustment.

Got it into my pal's panel beaters today and got one side of the inner and outer rear arches started. It's getting there now.
