I haven't updated this thread in ages  :x but in October MOT passed without any advisories

Then didn't know drive the car for a long time so it stood in one spot collecting dust/dirt :(

So the other day I got one of my friend to do a mini detail to bring it back to it's morning glory and took it for a small drive.

No pictures as the weather is really dull and haven't been on any meets to take good enough pics so here are just two standard iPhone pictures.

Or enjoy it over winter no matter what the weather. Just keep things clearer better and hope all the effort in rust proofing pans out.

The garage in the picture is not mines :( it’s my friends house who detailed the car for me.

Hopefully my sisters garage is clear for me over the next few weeks so I can keep my car in there and maybe do some work on it over the winter months. (Fingers crossed)

I guess it depends on whether you consider your car a daily or a weekend/toy/hobby car. From what Nitin said, it sounds like his is not being used much so I assume the latter, same goes for mine, it is a hobby car. Because I don't drive it every day, it feels like an occasion when I do. I have a daily that can get grubby, I don't care where I park it or what happens to it, it is quite liberating. Using my Tpye S as a daily would cause me significant stress :D

True.
Both the Type S and S660 are toys/shared usage when not using the daily van but keeping them on the road and insured is easier than taking off road especially in a sunny winter day and I smash out vtec or roof off action.

Yeah mine is still taxed and insured throughout and I will take it out occasionally just to stop things like the tyres developing flat spots or the battery going flat. I will only do this if the roads are dry though. Otherwise it just gets started and left to run up to temperature and moved up and down the drive way.

That looks absolutely stunning! Everything is just spot on, I watched the youtube review/interview and nice to hear a bit more of the history of the car.
