Mike's Type S
Thank you for the kind comments everyone.
Small update:
Made the 2 hour each way trip to Performance Autoworks last Friday to get my Skunk 2 Exhaust fitted, the car was de-catted at the same time so it needed some welding etc. It fits perfectly and sounds amazing mated to the Mugen header. The car also seems to pull even harder now, 3rd gear is seriously addictive
While I was there Rich also removed the intake resonator and put a K&N filter in the airbox. In addition he adjusted the coilovers for me, I could really tell the difference on the way home, it drove even better
It got filthy on the journey so got home and washed it before tucking it away back in the Garage.

Re: Mike's Type S
More intake noise It does pull harder now but I had the exhaust and decat done at the same time.tom023 wrote:Looks great!
What do you gain by removing the intake resonator? Slightly better top end power?

Re: Mike's Type S
HI,
I may be thick, but I've never seen a T reg. type S. Everyone I've come across has been a P reg. T reg's have been S Spec's, as I thought they had replaced the type s by then?
What's the definitive answer?

Re: Mike's Type S
Type S was never replaced. The S spec was bought out as a cheaper alternative to atts but with type S performance.
