Haha thanks , although I think most of my neighbours wonder why I don't buy a new BMW or Audi on PCP instead
Because you have some imagination and better taste!

Problem is you get better tax savings on new pcp cars around the luxury car tax bracket hence why do popular.

95% of the cars I repair are are such said vehicles on leese because of the tax earning incentives.
Tesla model 3s are the new boi in the area. Getting a fair few.

Got the car serviced and MOT'd at Performance Autoworks the other week. New OEM Honda front brake pads were required, new oil & filter. MOT had no advisories. Problem is I did less than 900 miles between MOT's. Because of Covid it has been used even less than usual!

No advisories! it's like that new car feeling

Reminds me mine is due next month. Only 4k this year since it was at PAW for some work and the MOT... Too far to go for just an MOT this time though...

I know what you mean, it's 2 hours each way for me. Rich just inspires confidence in me and that counts for a lot. He probably knows the Type S variant of the Prelude better than anyone else in the UK so I prefer to just let him look after it :)

My daily, a 2001 Lexus GS300 has it's MOT later this month. I keep waiting for it to fail on me so I have an excuse to buy something else. Even playing cambelt roulette with it hasn't yielded any results yet.

On Sunday me and a friend agreed to meet in an empty pub car park at 10am so I could see his new (to him) motor. A Datsun 510 SSS Coupe.

As we turned in it became apparent the car park was far from empty and there was a car meet going on, so we joined in. A mix of stuff, from old American metal, to new supercars. A few people took a close interest in the Prelude, asking lots of questions and complimenting me on it's condition, which is always nice :). Turns out the meet was the first since lockdown and it will be a regular thing last Sunday of every month, so we will probably go down every time now 8)

After that me and my friend took our cars to an actually empty car park and took a few pics of our cars together. My friend's Datsun is a work in progress, the bumpers are not even on it at the moment as they are off for re-chroming. Will be getting a bare metal respray at some stage as well.

The cowdray arms, near Crawley, not far from Haywards Heath. Next one is on August 30th if you fancy it? Be good to see one of your ludes
