Unfortunately it's not just the work that become evident it's obviously the work I had planned as well. And without being able to do any of it myself as I'm not exactly mechanically inclined, on top of it being my daily and spending a fortune on petrol it doesn't make sense financially for me to keep it - I don't want to buy a little run around either as no doubt that will break as well, as old cars do

It's a shame but as it is your daily I totally get it. What are you going to replace it with?
And I'm not to sure yet, might get a newer TT. Reasonably economic and quick at the same time! Need something that ticks the speed box otherwise I get bored

I see it went for £2600 on Ebay yesterday but you have re-listed again, did the buyer bail on you?

It was my friend who accidentally brought it ! I asked him to get it close to the reserve so any further bid from anyone wouldn't obviously hit it but then I dropped the reserve and it triggered his highest bid
I think it's gonna take me a long while to sell it in all honesty!

Yeah I am afraid it is all that work that needs doing plus the Cat D. You might make more stripping it for parts.
