Had to cancel the exhaust
was still waiting on delivery!
Coilovers are still booked in Monday though
I think I may have an issue with my calipers. After hard braking the steering feels rather shaky until I have used the brakes again less harshly. I can't imagine it being the pads or discs being warped! Will have these looked at Monday
Also with regards to the exhaust - I have a decat on mine but I can almost always smell petrol in the cabin - something else that probably needs looking at

Petrol smell could be pipes rusting through at connection to flexi pipes from tank.
They are located behind a plastic cover at left side of car near rear wheel and can be repaired by cutting out rusting part and replace with hose and steel clips.

Got the coilovers fitted today
Also found the cause of the petrol smell - needs a new fuel tank as mine has rusted!
It also needs new front calipers, rear carriers, a couple of bushes need replacing and new brake discs too.
Along with the other plans I had for it it's all adding up
Unsure if I have got the resources to get it all sorted with other financial commitments

Time to bust the spanners out then and get busy! Probably worth re-prioritising any expenditure on the car in light of the feedback (eg put the non essential items on the back burner).
Plenty of cars breaking on here - should be able to get a fuel tank from someone. Best to try and get one before your MOT runs out - as i doubt anyone will be willing to post it!
Depending on what is wrong with the calipers, you can get a rebuild kit from ebay or brakeparts.co.uk , discs are cheap from ebay or euro car parts. What on earth someone has done to the rear carriers god only knows, you sure its not rear calipers aswell?
If your not mechanically inclined - I'm sure a member close to you would be willing to help/assist.
