I love this. You have skills. I'm a bodyworks man myself but welding and fabrication isn't my thing. I'll just stick to my smart repairs. :shh:

little update, finsihed the battery tray in the boot and plugging all of the holes. Gave it all a coat of Upol Raptor too, its truck bedliner so isn't going anywhere!

Before I start prepping and painting the underside, I've started cleaning the suspension, soaking in a vinegar bath - didn't want to paint the underneath and then carry on pushing it around on a dolly!

Vinegar is cheap but takes ages in my experience (just using regular white vinegar) i had amazing and quick results with Bilt Hamber Deox C though.

It isn't that bad really, plus there's no real rush to get them stripped - even if it takes a couple of days then thats fine as I don't get that much time in between anyway.
