BB6 Alloys&Tyres

Thanks for the comments :)

I did go back to the powder coating company and ask them to look at the colour difference on the spare alloy - to their credit they agreed it was their mistake an offered to redo them all - i did offer them the opportunity to give some form of concession on price be it money back or something off the price of doing another set of alloys but they said they would prefer to redo them all and get it right.
So i have got to give them the chance to do this and i will be taking them back tomorrow.

Car booked in for MOT on 19th December 2023. One month early. Thought it might be easier on the car before winter sets in.
I have replaced the old battery with a fully charged up spare one and checked/topped up fluids.
Also changed back to oem blades for winter - didnt fancy running white alloys.
There is quite a screech at start up from one of the belts. It goes away after about 30 seconds at idle.
I know I fitted a new ps pump about a year ago but cant remember if i fitted a new ps belt or indeed if i changed the alt/ac belt :x
Might need to fit new belts. I have spare ones here.
Last year the handbrake was mentioned as an advisory so I have fitted new rear caliper, discs and pads. I also backed off the handbrake when resetting it as it was way too tight. Will see if it is mentioned this year.

If you have this car at the warehouse today, we can tighten the belts.

Thanks Merlin.
The ps belt no longer squeals on start up - it has cleared up of its own accord - must have been combo of very cold weather and having not driven the car for a week or so.

I took it in for MOT this morning and it passed with no advisories - so very happy. 90,242km
