I'd have scrapped it if rusty. No prelude is worth chasing rust unless you can find a 100% honest bodyshop. Good luck with that.

I finished the complete underseal and rust proof of the car today and i have to say i never ever want to do that job again - it just about finished my love affair with preludes.
There was some slight corrosion on the inside of the passenger door at the bottom and some on underside the spare wheel well, fuel tank and the chassis rails at the rear but all this was fairly easy to correct and i have done the right thing by making this job the top priority as another year of salt and grit would have made it more challenging.
I was too tired to take any photos but you can take my word for it that the job has been a thorough one.
Cost of materials was around £100 and it took 35 man hours.
