Need to chase down some oil leaks with one on the cambelt side being the priority
Hopefully it isn't the Oil Pump Seals! That's my next Job to get done

Hopefully not - the garage that did the mot seem to think it is the crank seal. Oil all over the aux belt
Ive not seen quite as bad a leak on the cambelt side in 20+ years of running a prelude.
I have put the car off the road and using the 4th gen until i can get a proper look at it.......

Quick update:
I have had another look at the leak onto the aux belt and it is possibly the power steering pump that is leaking and dropping ps oil onto the belt below.
So im going to keep any eye on the ps fluid level and take it from there.

Sounds more like it - when the crank seal goes it never gets onto the belt so PS pump is much more likely explanation.

After fitting the AEM long arm air intake to the BB1 I was left with Type S dynamic chamber intake so that got fitted to the 5th gen earlier today along with a K&N flat panel filter.
Also fitted some clear side indicators and did some small touch ups to stone chips on the bodywork.
Next up is fitting the new power steering pump as the old one is working fine but leaking ps fluid from the front seal behind the pulley and this is dropping down onto the accessory belt so I have got to change that out at the same time.

fitted the replacement power steering pump and all is working well....only problem is that i spilt a fair amount of power steering fluid when topping up - something i was trying to avoid
I ran out if puff towards the end of the job so have left changing the aux belt for another day
