Hello, I am Relatively new to the forum and have had my Lude for around 4 months and I adore every moment driving it. it's a 97' Base Spec 2.0i in Supermarine Blue Pearl. Long term plans is 5 Lug swap, H22A8/A7 swap and a few other custom bits and Bobs.

Photo of the old Girl:

I've been active a few times in the Forums, Picked up some 5 lug VTi hubs and Caliper's, as well as replace the alternator on the car last week so finally the build is in full swing!

First order of business was fixing the horrid stock wheel, I love EP3 wheels but didn't feel like paying EP3 prices, I found a lovely Gent in East Calder who breaks Civic's and was able to pick up an EP2 steering wheel (basically the same with black instead of red badges) for £30! Modernized the interior 10x and a nicer drive imho.

Hi and welcome.
Great to see a new member and well done for posting up pics :D

Glad you're enjoying the car. Great colour and picking up a 2.0 for an H22 swap is a great way of getting the car you want, for not 'all the money'.

Ain't that the Truth... Sub 1000 Pounds for something with Below 100k miles and reasonable service history... let the build begin :D

Another day, another part picked up!

The previous owner removed the old Hood spoilers and left it in an awful way... reason I got a good deal, £40 later I have a near perfect bonnet now

Next Plan is to take off the wiper assembly and give it a good respray to get it looking factory

I would recommend not respraying the plastic. Use this instead:

It doesn't need any extra preparation except cleaning the plastic surface beforehand.

Only thing I can imagine needing recently is a Motegi Lip kit or JDM Cupholders
