erm,

I haven't done my profile on here yet. So i may aswell start with this 1

i missed my old 4th gen and a friend has a 2.2 Si non wrapped in white and i kinda wanted it and went through the process of bullying him for it

then i saw this ebay add and it was love at 1st sight...

enough to travel all the way from Bradford to Cornwall and pick up this baby

Its a 2.2 JDM Si VTEC BB4 so no 4ws and its an auto..

i had to have it.
im sitting on Recaro Top Fuel seats
its sitting on 16" 3 piece split Autostrada Modena's. rear tyres look new, fronts still have plenty
Spoon Sports VTEC controller (looks just like the 1 that was for sale anyway)
the cat is hollow
Stainless Steel 2.5" from cat to back box with no centre section
don't know what the back box is but it has corroded from front and back
HKS Air Filter
spoon sports replica lip
value sports side skirts
dsp front speakers
the rear sub is still in
key-less entry still works from the original key
immobiliser
wind deflectors
Nengun Impul Auto Gear stick
was on coilovers
now looks like the fronts are still lowered but i don't know what on
underneath is clean
covered 97k miles still in kms so 157 or something
some cheesy old carbon wrap.. if it was the raised 1 it might look half decent
Momo Steering wheel with the controls for cruise control which still works
no ABS
Prelude Zebra Mats
front fogs
strut brace don't know what make though.

i know there is a bit of rust but this 1 was worth the travel with all the extras it came with.

I wanted a JDM 4th gen again so bad and missed my old car

so far iv given a service
brakes are bang on tight
rear wiper wasn't working, neither is the replacement. but the new 22 mm nut isn't corroded. might check the amps to see if there is enough current coming since the electric has to travel a bit further.
topped up steering fluid but might need to be re done fully
bought a Mugen Spoiler not fitted yet
I have a torque damper, i believe this particular 1 has done a couple of rounds
swapped bonnet over

opinions on a possible Motegi Wheel swap please which means messing about with the hubs. anyone done it sucessfully yet?

also since its an auto i got the car to swap to a manual again..
it looks a lot easier in this car as i noticed the bracket for clutch slave cyl is already there and the clutch pedal should very easily bolt up.

the mount will be the only thing. and i recon everything else is easy. im sure i could bang it out no more then 1 day with everything prepped ;)
i would be disappointed if i didn't.

and since i wanna do the manual swap then i think ABS install is called for. and since i read the 5th gen ABS is far lighter all round then the 4th and i have a pump and ecu already from a 5th hmmmm

so there is my car,
my new project
lil red so i must be big bad wolf

Looks like a nice wee project man! I'd leave the ABS out if it was me, I'm going to be removing mine from the car. What happened to the 5G?

It looks nice and should be better once you have worked on it a bit. Nice colour too :D

If you do a 5 stud swap then get some S2000 wheels. They look awesome on a 4G.

5G is parked up while I decide what I'm doin

Break or sell

If I break then manual conversion &
Hub conversion will be off this

I would rather sell

i saved the spam fritter as a book mark tab

so im just used to clickin it when i turn on pc

im guna do the same with this 1 now and will be on here more since thats where the action is

i know ABS = weight.
but it also equals better stoppage in those moments when you freeze and slam brakes.

other wise im pretty good at pumping 8-) :o

It may be a stupid comment, but if you like the Motegi wheels, and you have a 4th gen, why not just get the 4 stud Motegi wheels?

I'd leave the ABS off for two reasons. It will be a right PITA to install, and you dont really need it.
