Awesome bud, they came out great. 8)

Who did the retrimming, they seem very good?

Love the choice of rails too, snap!

Gonna have to see this in the flesh again and jump in for a drive, remind myself what that hair dryer thing in the garage is!

Forgot to ask, how good were the metal idler pulleys from the group buy? Worth the money or not? They are gathering a group for another group buy and have messaged me.

Edge Automotive In Rugby did it.

Now I don't think they are worth it..... at all. One guy did a test and the belt temperatures were alout higher on the metal pulley Vs the nylon pulley.
Also the metal pullies are alot slippier surface when hot.
I'm struggling with belt slip. It won't make power after 7k even with the extra idler. Everyone else makes power past 8k. I think the metal idlers aren't helping. I removed them last week.

However I have had no seats to drive the car for 3 months.

I can finally drive it tomorrow.

Holy smokes...an update.

Now I can be arsed to us another image housing fail.

So first thing first I bought all 4 brand new oem engine mounts to remove the God awful harsh innovative mounts.

Result...well the front innovative mount had to stay to clear the hytech manifold but the other 3 are in. And wow the car is enjoyable again. Firm but not harsh or vibratey. NVH is gone almost to oem levels however the balancer shaft delete still gives some rumble.

I notice engine does move some more nothing bad and less throttle/engine response.
Unfortunately no pictures.

Another hate was items rattling around in the glove box.

Solution.

The Fiancee complained about the recaro belt guide hitting her head ass shes just the right height.

Solution. Genuine recaro pads. Ugly but works and removable.

After Rich tuned my car and melted the rear bumper from the exhaust, i needed a new one. JDM rear bumpers are hard to get.
All prepped and painted and i thought id try a Motegi rear lip instead of the Azect rear. The melted rear bumper is now used for tuning the car.

After installing the exhaust, its awefull close and i want no more meltyness. Solution.

And new prelude badge back on. Thats the 3rd one i bought from Honda.

Next up, i miss Air conditioning and definately not worth the 12kg weight saving.......because luxury car. I got a complete air con system from a UKDM Lude. Dougy Mcdougface. Thanks.

Fitted easily. Evap sensor was a pain the ass. JDM 5th Gens use 4th Gen sensors not UKDM 5th Gen sensors. I had to get a new CRV sensor from a 1998 spec from germany.

All regassed and fully working. 8-)

And another.....Got a genuine Bonnet insulator from Honda. £90 delivered. Sod paying £400 on usa ebay.

After.....because luxury car.

I would drive it but the crank pulley harmonic dampener has failed and the charger wont make boost and MOT has ran out.

Got a new pulley and just waiting for a new exhaust to arrive and ill get a sports cat made up and fresh genuine pass mot for the first time in many years.

More updates to come.........so much

A few months ago i sealed the car with Gtechniq Crystal Serum light and Exo V3. I used this but Exo V2 and the van and has great results but Exo v2 watermarks easily. However Exo v3 doesnt watermark and is way more hydrophobic.

Some love bead shots.
