Looking good! The Accord type R calipers are lack lustre for sure, a much better looking setup with the decal.

I've put my hotwheels in the same place lol (I bought another , so cheap!)

I think the wheels really suit the car, more so than your previous ones (Enkei I think) 8)

A few weeks ago I took a trip to Torque Developments in Gray's Essex to get the Prelude remapped again. They did my S660 at the end of lockdown.

Now the map Performance autoworks works did was fine but in certain daily driving situations there would be strange fuelling issues. Typically at a cruise between 30-40mph it would run very very rich and misfire almost and it does it at 60-70mph after about 20mins of motorway driving, the fuelling would go very rich to around 11.5:1 instead of holding the 13.7-14.7 mix at cruise speed.
I could have taken it back to PAW but that would have meant leaving it with them for a while and heading back home etc etc.
Just easier to spend 3 hours and get it sorted.

Well this is the result. Before and after.

The map is generally the same, just tweaked. Long term fuelling was tweaked to stop it running rich which I can confirm after doing 100miles at 70mph be it stays at a solid 14.7air fuel ratio. Round town is still rough but that is the nature of it running in open loop mode all the time and the skunk2 cams. Running in closed loop off the lambda sensor would cause it to stall, but it's not bad. Just takes some getting used too a sensitive throttle and cruising and holding the correct rpm vs throttle position but it is overall a tad smoother at city speeds.

It made a tad more torque at low rpm and it's smoother in torque but it made a heap more power up top.

Reason being is the Hondata map sensor I'm using sees 0.01 psi of boost pressure at 7500rpm and this cuts fuelling. It's a common sensor fault apparently and this can be counter tricked and this is where I made more power.

234.1whp Vs 228.4whp
162.6wlbft Vs 159.9wlbft

Still burning quite a bit of oil, I'll keep my eye on to determine how much however I think it's around 1ltr per 1000miles but we will see.

Also with the correct motorway fuelling im seeing closer to 30mpg now instead of 25mpg before....but who really cares about fuel.

Hey @RattyMcClelland

Sounds like it was a worthwhile remap :)

Out of curiosity, I know your lump is heavily tuned, but is it expected for it to run lumpy with the mods you have? If so is there no way around it?

Isn't 1 litre of oil for every 1000 miles within tolerance in regards to oil consumption. Are you seeing an blue smoke or anything?

The skunk2 pro 2 cams have a large low cam lobe which is great for midrange torque but sacrifices some driveability at low revs, mix that with an extremely reactive throttle response it can be a tad jerky or lumpy on and off throttle at those low speeds.

1litre per 1000 miles is normal on frm engines however I'm using darton steel sleeves and forged pistons so was expecting much less. Done 350 miles since the remap when I last topped the oil up before getting mapped and it's not burnt any yet so it should be very acceptable.

No, Torque Developments mapped it. The only remapping I can do it my geography homework from the 90s.
