100 Cel sports cat
I have been running a decat and with the 3" exhaust its very loud and annoying swapping it out for an MOT.
So i got a 100cel sports cat made up 3". Less smelly and it has made the ECU lean out a bit in boost. Proof its more restrictive. But quieter.

INVIDIA Q300 EGGZORST

Right. Here it is. In al its glory crap fitment but excellent quality.

Now lining it up under the car its obvious its not going to fit.

8.5" too short. Thats huge. Plus a different flange

Issue 2, it became obvious the exhaust tip will sit very far into the bumper and wont be noticed. Thats not very racecar. My unicorn pony tip wants showing off. Its about 2" too short.

2" added to the tip to extend it and made the other 8.5" fit too. Looks excellent.

How does it sound?

Well Since its a smaller exhaust 3" to 2.75" and the rear back box isnt straight through as it loops internally this is a restriction. Restrictions cause the Air fuel to lean out so now the car is heavily pulling timming and misfiring when boost comes in. Rememeber i hit 9psi of boost at 70% throttle anywhere is the rev range. The throttle is basically a boost pedal. Thats how instant it is. So its very difficult to drive. Impossible actually. I had to cable tie the bypass valce open so i dont use the charger.
So the cat, exhaust and new crank pulley have all made the tune not work so the car should run better than ever once mapped.

On normal driving the car sounds like stock. Very subtle hint of exhaust tone. This is what im aiming for.
It need tuning before i can comment further.

Unfortunately Performance Autoworks at at least a months wait to tune it so more waiting is needed.

Finally i got rid of the AD08R tyres. Too harsh, crap below 12degrees C and wheel spin everywhere. Assuming tyre technology has move on since 2013 when the ad08r came out i have fitted some Michelin Pilot Sport 4. 245/40/17.
Lets see how they work. Not as pretty and much rounded shoulders. I did like the AD08r square shoulders. But the rounds shoulders have given me more arch room.

In the mean time im saving for my next car. A car is wont modify and IS an investment as prices are going up. JDM y0!

Hope you don't mind, but, put a few pics from JAE up on DriveTribe and it's had over 1.2k views, and growing rapidly.

Seeing the incredibly poor fitment on the Invidia makes baby Jesus cry... They're not the cheapest on the market and coming from a well known company, you would expect alot more. Any ideas why the whole system in +-8.5 inches short?
Is it to do with the different length between EUDM-JDM exhausts?

Apart from that, it looks the dogs...sausage

They are solely made for American ludes. American cats lengths must be long.

My exhaust on the lude was imported from the US and also needed to have about 8.5 inches added to make it fit. JDM cat on my lude. Its a Apexi WS2, it sounds quiet under normal driving but when on song sounds awesome. Was just over £900 to my door though.
